The new Squale Super-Squale Arabic Numerals Black is designed to pack as many functions as possible. It features a 38mm diameter case and a 45mm lug-to-lug, topping off at only 12mm in height. These measurements would fit most wrist sizes and keeps the watch lightweight enough for a pleasant skin-diving experience. Beautifully finished in full satined brush, the vintage re-issue encapsulates reliability with a robust look. The sleek watch is fitted with 120 clicks uni-directional steel bezel with a black aluminium insert with diver’s count-up scale. Using clearly defined white roman numerals and indexes against the black dial and the bezel increases the legibility, in and out of the waters. This amazing dial format was in fact coined as the “explorer” dial by collectors of vintage sports watches, an amazing retro-touch in tandem with its case design.

As an upgrade from the plexiglass of the past, Squale Super-Squale is fitted with a double-domed sapphire crystal for optimized clarity in time-reading. Compared to plexiglass, the sapphire crystal also offers more scratch resistance.
The matte black dial gives the watch a refreshing and classy look, yet equipped with all the necessary functions of a dive watch. Squale managed to nail their iconic hand-sets on this piece, adding SuperLuminova along with the hour markers.

Running on the reliable Automatic Sellita SW 200-1 Elaboré, this automatic movement has both hand winding and hacking capabilities. And it runs at 4 Hz and beats 28,800 beats per hour, making it a dependable workhorse. The screw-in crown and  engraved case-back ensure 200m water resistance so that you can take it anywhere you want to dive into, with or without your wetsuit.
