The main reason behind Steinhart’s success is fairly simple. They offer what the masses want at a terrific price point whilst not compromising on build quality. It is said that Mr Günter often sports a Steinhart on his wrist too! If that is not a solid affirmation of quality, I don’t know what is.

The new Ocean 39 Adventure Classic is 39mm in diameter, has a lug-to-lug of 47mm, and a thickness of 13mm. It wears oh-so-sweet on the wrist of both men and women.

Done in a matte black colour, the dial is utilitarian whilst still retaining its charm due to its classic dial layout. Baton indices can be found on the dial, with a triangular index at 12 o’clock and the 3-6-9 Arabic numerals applied at their individual markers. The result is an uncluttered, symmetrical dial that allows the wearer to tell the time at a glance. The Steinhart logo is proudly applied below the triangular index too, an unabashed showing off of the brand, allowing it to stand out from its more expensive counterparts.
There’s just something about 3-6-9 dials and Steinhart have hit the ball right off the bat with this timepiece.
